Mason County Emporium

& Sweet Shop

The Emporium and Sweet Shop boasts a unique Lumber Era feel, an old-fashioned candy counter, and one-of-a-kind t-shirts and apparel. In the Emporium, guests can make purchases, view artifacts in exciting interactive displays which provide an overview of the society, book tours of the Mason County Research Center, and reserve tickets to the historical society’s two museums. Tours of the Research Center will be offered regularly throughout the year, and advance appointments can be made to do research at the Center.

The Mason County Research Center & Emporium is located at 130 East Ludington Avenue, Ludington, Michigan, in the heart of downtown Ludington, at the site of the former First National Bank Building. The Emporium and Sweet Shop are open 10:00 am—4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, from January through March. The Mason County Research Center is open year-round, with extended hours of operation.
