Volunteers Needed!
We’re seeking volunteers to help history come alive for school groups and special event days!
Volunteering with the Mason County Historical Society is a wonderful way to share the history of Mason County with the many visitors that come through our doors each year. We have volunteer opportunities at both Historic White Pine Village and the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum. Volunteers help with a variety of tasks from working along side visitors while making crafts to helping bring “History Alive” while interpreting historical exhibits and buildings. There are also volunteer opportunities in our extensive research library ranging from data entry to archiving artifacts.
To volunteer at Historic White Pine Village please contact site manager – Michelle DeKuiper at michelle@mchshistory.org
To volunteer at the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum or the Research Library please contact Eric Harmsen at eric@plmmhistory.org
