“By volunteering you are giving the most expensive & priceless gift anyone can give – kindness & Love” – Unknown Author
We’re seeking volunteers to help history come alive for school groups and special event days!
Volunteering with the Mason County Historical Society is a wonderful way to share the history of Mason County with the many visitors that come through our doors each year.
We have volunteer opportunities at all three of our locations; Historic White Pine Village, Port of Ludington Maritime Museum, and the Mason County Research Center.
Volunteers help with a variety of tasks from working along side visitors while making crafts to helping bring “History Alive” while interpreting historical exhibits and buildings.
There are also volunteer opportunities in our extensive research library ranging from data entry to archiving artifacts.
