Maritime Museum Guardians

Our Maritime Museum Guardians program offers a unique opportunity for multiple donors to collectively support the preservation and enhancement of the historic 1934 United States Coast Guard Station, now home to the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum. By becoming a Maritime Museum Guardian, you contribute to the ongoing maintenance and development of exhibits that make this museum a beloved community landmark.

Your donations will directly fund the upkeep and improvement of the museum building and its captivating exhibits, ensuring that Ludington’s maritime heritage is preserved for future generations. Although the City of Ludington owns the building, the Historical Society is responsible for all improvements and maintenance, making your support crucial.

As a Maritime Museum Guardian, you join a dedicated group of supporters committed to maintaining this iconic site’s historical integrity and educational value. Your generous contributions will be acknowledged and recognized within the museum, and you will receive updates on our preservation efforts along with invitations to exclusive events.

Join us as a Maritime Museum Guardians and help keep this historical treasure vibrant and engaging for all who visit. Your commitment to preserving our maritime history ensures that the stories and legacy of our coastal community will continue to inspire and educate.
