PRESERVE LUDINGTON'S WATERFRONT LEGACY
An Iconic Building That Needs Your Support
The Port of Ludington Maritime Museum is housed in Ludington’s historic 1934 United States Coast Guard Station — a building that remained active until 2004 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Three floors of interactive exhibits bring Great Lakes maritime history to life for thousands of visitors each year, including school groups on Maritime History Days.
This unique arrangement means that every dollar of maintenance and improvement at the Maritime Museum must come from donors like you. The Maritime Museum Guardians program brings together a dedicated group of supporters who collectively ensure this waterfront landmark continues to thrive as one of Michigan’s most distinctive small-city museums.
