Founded by dedicated community members who recognized the importance of safeguarding our local heritage, the Mason County Historical Society has grown into a welcoming home for history enthusiasts, researchers, families, and curious visitors of all ages. White Pine Village

Michigan's most beloved open-air pioneer museum — 25+ authentically restored structures set among towering white pines along the Lake Michigan shore. Open seasonally, May–October.
