Adopt a Building at Historic White Pine Village
For $50 a year, you can adopt one of the Village’s beloved historic buildings — contributing directly to its long-term preservation, and receiving permanent recognition on a plaque on the structure you protect.
NAMED PRESERVATION GIFT
Become a Steward of History
Historic White Pine Village is home to 30 historic structures spread across 12 acres — an 1895 one-room schoolhouse, a working blacksmith shop, a turn-of-the-century general store, an authentic steam locomotive, a Victorian-era doctor’s office, and more. These buildings are the living fabric of Mason County’s pioneer history.
Maintaining these structures is an ongoing, year-round responsibility. The Adopt-a-Building program allows individuals, families, and businesses to take direct ownership of one structure’s preservation. For just $50 a year, your generosity ensures that one of these irreplaceable buildings remains in excellent condition for the visitors — and school groups — who experience it every season.
What Adoption Includes

- Exclusive Event Invitations — Invitations to special events at the Village as a recognized building steward
- Annual Renewal — Continue your stewardship year after year for ongoing recognition and impact
Why This Gift Matters
The Village’s buildings were constructed in the 19th century. Some are originals relocated from around Mason County; others are authentic period reproductions. All require regular maintenance, weatherproofing, structural upkeep, and restoration to remain safe and accurate for the thousands of visitors — including school groups — who walk through them each season. Your adoption makes that possible.
