Military Museum

Learn about the stories of service and sacrifice that have shaped Mason County and our nation.

Housed in one of Historic White Pine Village’s original exhibit buildings, the Military Museum shares the stories of service and sacrifice that have shaped Mason County and our nation. The collection spans from the Civil War to the present day, featuring uniforms, personal artifacts, and memorabilia that reflect the experiences of local men and women across generations.

Before the opening of the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum in 2017, this building also served as the home for the Society’s maritime collection—making it a place that has long been dedicated to preserving powerful stories of courage, both on land and on water. Today, it offers visitors a thoughtful and engaging way to explore the legacy of military service through the objects and stories preserved within its walls.
