Village Time Museum (Clock Shop)

Explore a remarkable collection of antique clocks and timepieces.

Time has always mattered in Mason County, from the precise schedules of the railroad car ferries to the seasonal rhythms of the lumber camps. The Clock Shop celebrates the art and science of timekeeping through a remarkable collection of antique clocks, watches, and horological instruments.

Built in 1990 by the Mason County Horological Society, this charming building, affectionately known around the Village as the Clock Shop, houses pieces ranging from grand floor clocks to delicate pocket watches. Many are in working order, filling the space with the gentle ticking and chiming that marked the hours for generations of Mason County residents.

For anyone who appreciates craftsmanship, mechanical ingenuity, or simply finds the passage of time to be a worthy subject for reflection, the Clock Shop is an unexpected delight.
